As part of activities lined up to mark the end of 2016/2017 Legal Year, The High Court of Ogun State will proceed on vacation from Monday the 17th of July, 2017.

This hint was contained in a Circular letter dated 4th July, 2017 and signed by Mr. Olusola Oloyede, the Chief Registrar, Ogun State High Court of Justice, Abeokuta.  

The six week vacation which is in Pursuant to order 45 rule 4(d) and rule 5 of the High Court of Ogun State, Civil procedure rules 2014 according to the Hon. Chief Registrar, will commence on Monday 17th July, 2017 and will end on Friday 25th August, 2017.

The Circular letter reads in part “During the Vacation, Criminal cases will be taken. Urgent civil Motions will also be heard, but only with the leave of a Judge on the application of both parties to the suit or their Counsel”.

“The Legal year Services (Christian and Muslim) for 2017/2018 Legal Year will hold on Monday, the 25th day of September, 2017” It added.
