The Ogun State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu has described the newly Commissioned Magistrate Court, Ijoko as a welcome development which according to her was channelled at ensuring that Justice is administered and brought closer to the people at the grassroot level without delay.

Stressing that the newly established Magistrate Court would reduce backlog of criminal and civil cases in the Magisterial District.

“The Commissioning of this Court is something that is needed, this will reduce the stress of litigants coming from far places to appear or to file cases before the Ota court” the Hon. Justice Dipeolu emphasised

The Chief Judge who appreciated Oba AbdulFatai Matanmi for donating the Court to the Ogun State Judiciary, implored other philanthropists to engage in building courts to avert congestion of cases at the existing courts within the Magisterial district.

Emphasising on the need for adoption of the Multi Door Courthouse, Hon. Justice Dipeolu implored Lawyers to patronise the use of the Courthouses across all Judicial Divisions, assuring that E-filing will soon be in operation at Ota Judicial Division.

Earlier in his goodwill messages, the Olota of Ota, Oba (Prof.) Adeyemi Obalalenge appreciated the Chief Judge of Ogun State, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu for His Lordship vision at taking the Ogun State Judiciary to a greater peak, adding that the provision of the Magistrate Court, Ijoko will hasten quick dispensation of Justice in the area.

Obalanlege who admonished the Ijoko Community leaders on the need to maintain cordial relationship with the State Judiciary noted that “Nobody is above the law; the rule of Law is good for an orderly society”

Also, the Onijoko of Ijoko land, Oba AbdulFatai Matanmi, who eulogised the kind gesture of the State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Dipeolu, cautioned criminals to desist from their activities, emphasising that nobody is above the law. Present at the Commissioning were Acting President of the Ogun State, Customary Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Adebisi Femi-Segun, Hon. Judges of the High Court, Management Team, Magistrates, Lawyers, Muslim and Christian Clerics and Traditional Rulers.
