The Chief Judge of Ogun State, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu has charged Muslim faithfulsto avoid sin, forgive and be merciful to their offenders in this period of Ramadan and rededicate themselves to the dictates of Allah.

The Chief Judge gave this admonition at the maiden edition of Ramadan Lecture organised by the Ogun State Judiciary Muslim Community held at the Ceremonial Court of the State Judiciary Complex, Abeokuta

The Hon. Chief Judge represented by Hon. Justice Olanrewaju Onafowokan in his speech reflected on the beauty of Islam as a religion of peace, saying “The beauty of the Islamic faith is rested in the total adherence to the dictate of Allah. It is very important that we use the opportunity of this Ramadan to find purpose and rededicate ourselves to Allah as well as live in peace with each other”.

His Lordship who further encouraged Muslims to remain resolute in their determination said “I encourage you to be brothers, love one another and be kind to all as the Holy Prophet enjoins you”.

Appreciating the State Chief Judge’s support towards the Ramadan Lecture,Hon. Justice Olanrewaju Onafowokan commended Hon. Justice Dipeolu for the timely approval of the program, prayed for more strength to achieve all desired agenda His Lordship has for the State Judiciary.

Speaking on the Program with the theme “Career Prowess Between Success and Godliness” the Guest Lecturer, Alhaji Jubril Lawal charged Muslim faithfuls to always work in holiness irrespective of the challenges that may emerged.

Present at the Ramadan Lecture were Hon. Justice Tajudeen Okunsokan, Hon. Justice Olatunde Oyajimi, Members of Ogun State Judiciary Management Team, Magistrates,Judicial Research Officers (JROs), Lawyers, Members of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) and others Muslim faithfuls in State.
