In line with the cardinal agenda of the Hon. Justice M. A. Dipeolu, FICMC to decongest the prisons and bring Justice closer to the people, the Ogun State Judiciary has organized an Intervention Week. It will hold at Sagamu Magisterial District from 1st July 2019 to 5th July 2019. It will commence from 9am to 6pm on the designated days.

The main objective of the Intervention Week is to speedily hear and dispose of criminal matters, old and new in the Court’s docket. It will be held across all the Magisterial Districts in the State. This is the maiden edition and it is scheduled to commence at the Sagamu Magisterial District. Two (2) Magistrates have been assigned to sit during the said period. The exercise will require the Magistrates to sit for longer hours than usual so that the aim of the week can be achieved.
We urge all concerned at the Magisterial District to cooperate with the Magistrates. The aim of the week is the expeditious and efficient conclusion of cases.
It is our plan to hold this exercise quarterly.
