The Chief Judge of Ogun State, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu has inaugurated Chairman and Members of the Education Board to the State Judiciary Staff development Centre.
The Inauguration which was held at the Judiciary complex, Abeokuta had Hon. Justice Olumuyiwa Olusanya as the Chairman of the board.
Other Members Include Hon. Justice Olugboyega Ogunfowora, Hon. Justice Sonia Akinbiyi, Prof. Oluyemisi Bamgbose (SAN) and Mrs Olukemi Adebo (Study Coordinator).
In her address, the Chief Judge, explained that the staff development centre which was commissioned June 7th, 2021, is particularly geared at educational advancement of all the Judicial staff across all strata.
The centre according to Justice Dipeolu offers a wide range courses such as the Use of English, Basic Computer, Court management among others.
Justice Dipeolu highlighted that “The board will serve as senate for the development centre to draw up programs and approve results of the centre.”
“The board members are saddled with the responsibilities to advance the centre and to actualize the objectives of its establishment.” She said
In his acceptance speech, the Chairman of the board, Hon. Justice Olumuyiwa Olusanya promised that the board’s curriculum to the staff will be targeted on the development of critical thinking, problem solving and actions to develop confidence in addressing challenges to the sustainable development of the Judiciary.
Present at the Inauguration were, Hon. Justice Solomon Olugbemi (Rtd.), the Chief Registrar of the High Court, Mrs Olufunke Odubanjo, Deputy Registrars and other members of the Ogun State Judiciary Management team.
