Efforts to strengthen Ogun State Justice Delivery System took a step further as Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun swore in Mrs. Oriyomi Abiodun Sofowara as a Judge.

The event which had in attendance the Chief Judge of Ogun State, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu, President, Ogun State Customary Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Adebisi Femi-Segun and other Honourable Judges of Ogun State, was held at the Executive Chambers, Governor’s Office, Oke- Maosan, Abeokuta after the confirmation of her appointment as a Judge of Ogun State Customary Court of Appeal by National Judicial Commission (NJC).

Governor Abiodun who charged the new Judge to sustain the ethics of the justice sector in the State implored her to uphold integrity, keep standard and continue blazing the trail of impartial Justice System in the State.

Taking the Oath of Allegiance as well as Judicial Oath, Sofowora Promised to be faithful, uphold the ethics of justice sector and perform her duties without fear or favour.

Until her appointment as a Judge, she was the Chief Registrar, Ogun State Customary Court of Appeal.
