SHUN CORRUPTION, REMAIN STEADFAST, UPHOLD THE LAW- OGUN CJ CHARGES NEWLY APPOINTED MAGISTRATES

Ogun State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu has urged the newly appointed Magistrates in the service of Ogun State Judiciary to shun corruption, remain steadfast, be dutiful, faithful and uphold the law in the discharge of their duties.

His Lordship gave this admonition at the Swearing-in Ceremony of the 12 newly appointed Magistrates held at the Judiciary Complex, Abeokuta.

The Newly appointees are Mrs Abimbola Odusote, Mrs Nofisat Kazeem, Mr David Odunsi, Mrs Oluwakemi Adeeko, Mr Idris Ogunfemi and Mrs Olajumoke Fadairo.

Others include, Mrs Abimbola Morakinyo, Mr Oludare Adejare, Mr Fisayo Okuboyejo, Mr Oluwasegun Mobi, Miss Habibat Olaogun and Miss Oluwafunmilayo Adeleke.

Admonishing the new magistrates, His Lordship said “As it is a call for joy to become a Magistrate, it’s equally a call to discipline, a call to proof your loyalty, conservativeness, humidity, fairness and Justice”

The Chief Judge further charged the appointees to be law abiding, be courteous and not to allow their personal interests to influence their official decisions

Responding, on behalf of the other appointees Mrs Abimbola Odusote  appreciated the Chief Judge for the opportunity given to them to serve as Magistrates in the Ogun State Judiciary.

She also pledged that the new Magistrates will work assiduously in alignment with the core values of the Ogun State Judiciary
